The lowest product is the best in welding and soldering

product of very poor quality. very inconsistent. Fills gaps rather than fills. It burns but does not combine with pure metal. I would not recommend this for any use as it leaves deep gaps. Even the unnamed Ace Hardware brand has a higher quality wire. Worst wire I've seen in 20 years of welding.

Excellent Flux: Welding and Soldering

This flux is excellent. Sometimes the smoke can block my view of the puddle so I use a small fan to keep it out. It may be my imagination, but there seems to be less spatter. Although at the same time I bought a new welding machine. My old welder worked fine but was limited to a 3/16" size. The new welder is the Hobart 140 and it might have something to do with less spatter. Regardless, I now use cored wire when I need it. Oh , 0.030 was the size I used.

Typical Hobart quality

Works great as does every Hobart wire I've ever used. For those unfamiliar with wire welding, there are two main types of steel welding. Gas shielding, which uses gas emanating from argon (or other acceptable gas) to protect the weld from contamination, and gas-free wire, also known as cored wire, where the shielding agent is contained in a flux held in a tiny becomes void in the weld. the cable. Advantages of gas shielded arc welding include lower welding costs (after the initially higher cost
