I have struggled with pH in my hot tub for many years. I bought drops and dip strips and still couldn't get over it. This pH meter is easy to use and extremely accurate. I would recommend it to everyone!

present I like that it is quick and easy to use. Calibration is a little tricky if you're not sure what the pH of your faucet is before you start. For this it is better to use distilled water. Overall it appears to be in excellent condition. Can't beat the price either.

The product does not hold the calibration. Box opened, calibration procedure carried out with switched-on buffer voltage. I checked the readings of the device on tap water and it turned out to be 9.6! All solutions since have returned readings of 9.6. Couldn't even use the meter. Removed battery, serviced, installed battery and calibrated again only to get the same result. In short, crap I wasted my time with this POS

I use it about every other day and check the calibration about every few weeks and so far I haven't had to recalibrate. It is very important to rinse the probe in a small amount of distilled water after use, then I shake off the water and inflate to dry before replacing the cap. I think if this kit was better it would come with a 250ml measuring cup to calibrate the ph tester and maybe a recalibration kit for more than one shot (e.g. link to ph packs or large vessel and measure at 250mL so you can easily recalibrate multiple times). Temperature and ppm tests were accurate and easy to use right out of the box. The pH meter included in this kit is worse than junk, after calibration it read somewhere between 0.5 and 1.2 of normal. I was able to compensate for this by comparing the results to the calibration solution, but this was far less convenient than just using paper strips. However, the BIGGEST issue is with the design, the directions it points to not submerge the probe above a certain point, which I've tried not to do.
