Great book to learn the basics of golf.

Hogan's book emphasizes the importance of the fundamentals of golf. Excellent foundation and practice make the difference between a high handicap and a low handicap. My father read Hogan's books to learn how to play golf and was a 3 handicap player until he was 50. I would recommend any beginner to read this book and learn the basics if they want to be a good golfer.

A Good Start for Improvement

If Hogan's "Power Golf" is the bible of the game, then this is the best version of the New Testament. It's kind of an abbreviation of a big book, covering as much as a fool needs to get a really good start on improving their game. This book alone should be good for making some hits in your game in a couple of weeks - with work! I recommend it to anyone who really wants to play better golf, and who doesn't?

Worth it - Golf

I never write reviews but I had to. I have 14 disability. Got from 19 to 14 in the last year. I took a few lessons and decided to order this book. It just makes sense. For me, the chapters on grip and stance hit the mark. I just took it for granted. I've been out on the range a few times since adopting the new grip (I used to use an overlay) and stance and while it was a bit awkward at first, my ball hitting has improved a lot, A LOT, and stuff continue The flight of the ball is better. better.
