I bought this for my 2018 Audi A6. Some reviewers have claimed they had issues with the attachment, but I had no issues. If you start snapping the attachment on the far left, all the clips will snap into place and you can slide the holder to the right to the desired position. If you try to snap the clips in the middle, they won't snap!

Some things to watch out for. 1. It's a magnet and you stick a self-adhesive metal disc in the back of your phone/phone case. As long as that metal disk is there and there, wireless charging won't work. 2. About 50% of the time when you take off the phone, the entire bracket will come off. Your technique will improve over time and it will improve.

This holder is near perfect. He holds the phone very well. When I put it in the mount, my phone doesn't rotate like other mounts I've used. My only complaint is that the dashboard fit could be better. While the holder snaps easily onto the dash, it's not tight and tends to make noise. It seems that such a soft material is needed between the clip and the dashboard. maybe styrofoam.

First of all it is important to note that this is not considered a direct fit for the C7 A6 but I bought it anyway. It's almost perfect except for the fact that I used some soft double sided tape to secure it in place. That made everything perfect. I didn't like the magnet it came with so I used the stronger one I had. I now have an efficient and seamless way to view my device while navigating etc. I love that this setup doesn't cover any of the AC vents.

This is a great concept but it doesn't fit my 2018 Audi A6. The bottom clips don't snap and just dangle. This means that if you try to put the phone on the magnet or remove the phone from the magnet, it will jump off the dashboard.
