Great comb, great price

I have show cockers with lots of wool. I don't like poodle combs because of the very sharp point. I used to buy poodle combs and tried to round off the ends but ended up throwing them away. I stumbled across this comb and at an affordable price I thought why not. That is amazing. I spend 16 hours a week taking care of my cockers. I use this comb every day. I bought 2 extras so I always have one with me. The handle is comfortable to hold and goes best through her entire coat.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Must have grooming tool

This is a must have tool if you have a Flemish Bouvier or other wire coated double coated breeds. Smaller combs or combs with rotating teeth will not do. This stuff just cuts through the undercoat and is great when used as an alternative or alongside a medium thinner. Hard mats, keep the hair between the skin and the knot, so as not to hurt the dog. It can cut knots almost as well as a combing knife. My Bouvier coat is in much better condition and easier to care for since I bought it!

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model

Hands down the best self-care tool!

I have literally dozens of different combs and brushes that I have purchased over the years to groom my American Cocker Spaniel. This is the ONLY thing that really worked. Not only does he fight his way through the dense tangles of fur, but he is also careful enough that my cocker doesn't frantically run away to escape what has always proved to be quite a painful and frustrating experience for two. from us. A big plus, as pointed out by another reviewer, is the wooden handle for a comfortable…

Very strong crest, the teeth are widely spaced.

Very nice and relatively large comb. The teeth are quite widely spaced which is not visible in the photo as there is no background to give scale. We have greyhounds with medium-length coats. We live in a grassy foothill area, lots of stickers, bed lice and the like getting in our hair. The teeth of this comb are too wide apart to pull stickers effectively. This will likely work well for a dog whose coat is tangled and tangled. So the comb isn't very well suited to our needs, but it's clearly a…

amazing comb for carrying and travel items

We have a Standard Poodle. This comb is perfect for combing your hair and making it look like a beautiful cotton ball :) I'm really impressed with how comfortable it feels to hold the comb. It's really solid and strong. Grip comfort is really important as it takes a while to get through the mass of hair that a big fluffy dog has! Its teeth are not long enough to be difficult to manipulate and not so short that they reach the hairline. And the teeth on this thing are thick and strong, so they…
