These guys are real. I've used them to make many Middle Eastern style kebabs (one of my favorites worldwide) and they work great. Technique is very important - watch YouT*be videos from chefs and locals to learn how to do it right. (tl;dr - fresh meat and wet hands).

They seem to last a long time, they are wide, thick and long, somewhat like traditional Middle Eastern skewers. 1 skewer holds enough meat for a fairly hungry adult, so a set of eight will probably feed eight people. 4 stars only - magnet sticks to it - so not real food grade stainless steel, most likely plated stainless steel - but for real American food. You'll pay double, if not triple, for stainless steel skewers of this size

I've been looking for really wide and flat Middle Eastern and Persian style kebab sticks for a long time. There is nothing comparable in the local markets. High quality, massive. I can say they are for life. I bought them to make kebabs - the width helps to cook the meat from the inside as well. Very easy to use and clean compared to handle versions. They lie flat on surfaces such as a grill, bowl, etc.

I wanted to make a koftah kebab but my old skewers were too thin and too short so I used these. They are perfect for what they were designed for: solidly made and easy to clean. i miss the pen I wear a heat resistant glove to flip it, but my grill is narrow so I often bump into other skewers. But it's worth it. These skewers are very easy to care for, so again if I had a choice I would choose them over skewers with handles.

I saw a super cool recipe for Adana Kebobs that Ivan is making at home, had to try it. Unfortunately they fell off my thin skewers. I bought this kebab (because the recipe calls for a wide kebab). They work great. They seem well made and amazing. However, in my small New York kitchen and tiny cast-iron skillet, they're just comically long. I would like a half length option but the same width. Nothing against the grill itself. That's great. If you grill, this is A+. It's a pointed metal stick :)
