Cats ran straight to it. Then I noticed that the spikes were coming off. It became so fragile that it fell apart after 2 months. thrown out.

Unfortunately, this didn't help scare away my cats. In fact it was the exact opposite: my cats liked to chew on the plastic spikes/teeth so they were attracted to it.

It was easy to crop and won't let the dog on my couch! It is rolled up so that the ends curl up a bit. I put a throw pillow right in the corners and after a few days it straightened up with no problem. I just put it under the sofa when we want to sit down.

got this to try to get cats to stay away from railings (used solar grid as some sort of canopy/netting) but unfortunately 3/4 of the cats don't you don't seem to remember it, and you'll be walking/sitting on spikes. Maybe they help a little since they go there a little less often, but it can also take some getting used to us saying no and taking them off. What turns me on is that they are perched on spikes.
