I LOVE this tool on Hand Tools

I LOVE this tool. I always try to have 1 on hand for my next big grout removal project. It allows you to scrape away all of the old sealer and prepare the area for the new sealer, then a smoother tool allows you to apply the new sealer in a perfectly smooth line and remove the excess. It should be. I usually have to throw them out after every job, so I always buy a pair at a time so I'm always ready.

Cheaper is not always bad.

I personally bought one of these when I received sealing for a DIY project. It is excellent for removing sealant and removing sealant residue from surfaces. I lost the original so I personally bought a more expensive set at a local hardware store and it was the worst I've ever used. I've been looking for this and I'm glad Amazon has it in stock. The best removal and smoothing kit is right here.

Reliable and easy to use and clean

This is as advertised. Solid and easy to use and clean. As far as anti-aliasing goes, it doesn't work any better than others, and using a wet finger is still the best way. The scraper is good for blades with a pointed section. However, for 3-seam corners, the tool is too big to work well there. Also, you won't get very close to the corner with the flat edge of the scraper because the pointed end at the top is so big that it blocks the tool from getting close. I ended up having to order a flat…

  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
  • Socket Required
