I installed it on the inside of my small door that covers the cupboard under the kitchen sink. It fits perfectly and is very stable. I had to find shorter screws in my stash to make sure the screws weren't pointing through the front of the cabinet door. I keep a large roll of cling film, two boxes of foil, and parchment paper, all in the original packaging. They fit great. Not too comfortable. Items don't drop. It's easy to pull out items in a hurry. Highly recommended.

this is normal. The screws that come with the set are pretty flimsy and broke when we tried to attach it to the interior door. We had to use other screws from my house to attach it to the door. Second, the screws are longer than the thickness of most doors, so we had to make a washer to take up some space. I put this organizer in a closet where it was impossible to install. So I turned it on its side and placed it on a shelf next to the inside wall of the closet and didn't actually "install" it. This organizer replaces the one we've had for 12 or 13 years. The problem with the old one was that it wasn't designed for the big boxes that are sometimes used these days, and the small boxes fell through the wrong floor. This stand can actually be side mounted. I would give it five stars except what others have said is true: THE SCREWS SUPPLIED ARE TOO SMALL. They can slip through the mounting holes.
