Great bottle with everything you need for beer fermentation!

I just started homebrewing, I already have a bottle and decided it was time to get a second one. It has everything you need (I suggest using a purge tube before using the included airlock, this is because there is a lot of fermentation going on in the beginning). The only thing I don't like about it is that I noticed a yellow-green stain on the rubber stopper after the first brew. I think this is because the yeast reaches the cork and stays there until fermentation is complete. I also noticed…

I bought this because it came with a lid

I confess that I only bought this particular jar packaging because of the black poly lid that came with it. I use nice New Amsterdam 1.75 liter gin bottles for kombucha secondary fermentation and wanted to see if this particular cap would work for a tighter seal and therefore I don't need to use the old aluminum screw caps if I think so the case would be Order a bulk pack of polycaps. I knew I was going to need a pitcher and water seal anyway, and the price was right, so I bought it. Please let

Large pitcher for small batches or beginners

I'm just getting started with home brewing and this was a great starter kit for my purpose. I've got a batch of mead brewing right now, but I know a few people who have used these 1 liter steins for small batches of beer as well. Everything came clean and without defects.
