I confess that I only bought this particular jar packaging because of the black poly lid that came with it. I use nice New Amsterdam 1.75 liter gin bottles for kombucha secondary fermentation and wanted to see if this particular cap would work for a tighter seal and therefore I don't need to use the old aluminum screw caps if I think so the case would be Order a bulk pack of polycaps. I knew I was going to need a pitcher and water seal anyway, and the price was right, so I bought it.
