Description of Home Heating Spirits Fermenter Thermometer

This easy to use heat pad is designed to keep your brew warm enough for a consistent fermentation at a low cost, as it is only 25 watt. It raises the temperature of 3-11°C above the ambient temperature. The PVC surface is water proof (but the pad is not suitable to use in liquid). An internal temperature safety will shut off the power if the heat pad surface temperature is higher than 50 (+/- 5) °C. There are two fire resistant cotton sheets beneath the PVC cover. The heating wire is double insulated. For illustration, see Pic 2 above. It is 30cm (12'') in diameter and is safe for use with both glass and plastic fermenters, carboys and buckets. It is easy to clean by wiping off and easy to store. Improve the quality of your beer and wine whilst reducing fermentation time with this electric heating pad. It is perfect to use if you need to keep your brew in a spare room, garage of cellar where the temperature is lower than the ideal for brewing. Please note that there is no temperature controller on the mat, so regular check is required to ensure the proper temperature being maintained. One free stick-on thermometer is included in the package. Please notice that the liquid temperature is about 0.5-1.5 °C lower than the temperature shown on the stick-on thermometer on the container.

Best Value for Heating and Temperature Control

Stores 2 gallons of Brew Demon at the right temperature in a shared fridge with an external Inkbird controller. Works well

Cons
  • Crumpled Package

Works great - kitchen and dining room

Well this mat is perfect for what I do. I brew beer in a 6.5g glass bottle and the temperature is just right for the money for an ale.

Pros
  • Includes a free thermometer. Please note that the temperature of the liquid is about 0.5-1.5℃ lower than the temperature shown on the thermometer on the container.
Cons
  • Some problems

No use for Kveik

Trying to keep my fermenter bottle at 92° seems impossible despite the average room temperature. 85° and with a temperature controller. Install between dry foam square and fermenter. Brewing with Quake yeast. It seems to be working a bit. It will probably still be fine at room temperature. I had to use heat tape.

Pros
  • This easy to use warmer is designed to keep your drink warm enough for even fermentation at a low cost as it only uses 25W. It increases the temperature by 3-11℃ above the ambient temperature.
Cons
  • cloudy packaging
