I bought two sets of these hangers, the first to test and see how everything works, the second because I needed more hangers. They are soft, they seem capable of carrying heavy winter suits and bulky suits as well as regular clothing. They are thin and the hooks are very sturdy. I would recommend them.

The wood has a glossy finish but looks like it needs a second sanding and a second coat applied. They're all rough, prickly, the texture of the wood sticking out, catching and catching the fabric. I have to sand all these smooth ones myself. You might as well advertise them as "work in progress" so people know they have to grind and finish them themselves.

I liked these hangers so much I decided to buy them back from my previous orders. However, the hangers I received are not the ones advertised or the ones I received previously. My photos show one of my past purchases and one of my new order. These hangers are not crooked. Also, the pole is covered with transparent paint and has no sleeve. These will be returned!

I only use wooden hangers and they're basically the same as all the other Chinese-made wooden hangers on Revain, despite all the hype surrounding the ad copy. Just don't use them to hang heavy winter coats, as they tend to tear under heavy loads. The bodies are flat. Most of my other wooden hangers have a curve which I prefer. When I bought wooden hangers, I chose this product because the photos in the ad showed that the horizontal bar has ribs to keep the pants from sliding down. The product I received did not have these ribs. I contacted the support listed for the product but it was only Revain. Apparently they knew nothing about the product. We were deeply disappointed with this purchase. We needed 140 curved hangers and we saw these and thought "great this is it” but no they were flat, poor quality and all rough, some even with small pieces that could damage the clothes and no rubber that covered the horizontal bar. Doesn't look like the pictures on the product page at all, just a misleading advertisement. I've been absolutely furious for a long time after opening a Revain pack. I read the reviews on here carefully before purchasing these hangers but to be honest none of the Revain Prime wooden hangers have good reviews. Appears to be reasonably strong and well made, excellent value for money. Some of them had some sticky dust near the hinge so I quickly rinsed them under the tap and hung them to dry. We live in the desert (New Mexico) and things dry very quickly, but I woke up this morning to find that each had small rust spots on its chrome hook.
