My son (7) has had one of these hats for 2 years and this summer we bought the same one for my daughter (5). The only negative is the lack of "girlish" colors, but she still likes it. They are very light and dry quickly. Ideal for water sports. I ordered it based on the reviews and saw a small child in it and thought it would be good for my boy.
