I read in a review that a woman bought this for her adult daughter so I took the risk of buying it for myself. It's beautiful, it's warm and sweet. I was looking for an L but settled on the M they had and it fits but fits perfectly perfectly. My little one (2.5 years old) has a red dress one size smaller and it fits and looks great. My daughter wore this hat for less than 10 minutes after which one of the puff balloons detached and disappeared forever. We also walked all over downtown so she was lost forever. The hat looks ridiculous without one of the balls and with a new hat I don't have to worry. So disappointed because this hat looked so cute and quite warm. I didn't spend all that money on a hat that would become useless after 10 minutes of wearing. Sigh.

Although I LOVE this hat this is the second one I have received. We put the first one on and that night the pompom fell off. It's ok, I sent it back and they sent me another one. Just put it back on and my little one gently pulled the rope and boom it broke again. So frustrating. They're nice and warm, but they're not sewn very well.
