Always looking for the perfect winter hat with earflaps, this one is made of thick fleece, very soft, has two drawstrings and goes low on the sides and back, like at chin level, like that great for protecting ears and neck from heat and wind. But it has a bubble on top that makes you look funny. However, I save that for a super cold single January.

Received last year and rated as good. It's going to be very cold in Wisconsin this year, these were the best hats we've had (and tried a lot), they go over the forehead and frame the face, the ear cups are snug but not tight. An adjustable tie at the back of the neck lets you customize the fit. Warmed the whole family while clearing snow this winter. Highly recommended.

Knitting sledges do not protect against cold winds and are constantly put on the head at work, causing the ears to freeze. This helmet hat made of very soft fleece not only holds the head and covers the ears, but also protects against the wind. My husband and I wear them when the winter gets ugly and recommend them to anyone working in the cold.

love this hat, i thought it would be super nerdy once i put it on and it was, i LOVE IT. it is very warm and actually stays on your head. As I looked at the elastic you adjust to hold it on your head, I told myself that this would never work. but it is so! It covers your ears and sits very well on your ears and it's warm. I haven't had it below 25 degrees or in high winds, that much lower than I can tell, but I have a rabbit fur hat for those temperatures.

I have a huge head. I don't think it's that big, but I think it's because I just can't find a hat in this style or a visor/baseball cap that fits my head. They say they are adjustable but when you open them all the way they don't fit. BUT luckily this hat fits. It's too small, but the relief of a beanie keeping my large ears warm is so great I might not realize it. It's a nice soft material and the shape fits my head. I like it . 4/5
