Drinks don't freeze easily when you're walking in the cold!

I bought this to make long runs. I wore it to a 25k race and it worked really well. The bladder holds a lot of liquid and I had no problems with leakage during the race. We started at 7am and that day the max was 39. There were other runners who had issues with their drinks freezing in the tube but I didn't. My bladder isn't frozen either. Everything was secured well but I wish the hip pockets were longer because if you have a large phone like I have (Samsung G8 Note) it won't fit in there…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great insulated backpack for hydration!

Bought this for my kids (11 & 13) to keep them hydrated on holiday. I estimated they were insulated (most we looked at weren't) and they could hold 2 liters of water. We used to have water bottles and slings, but they get in the way when climbing rocks, through caves, etc. We really appreciate the caps on the end of the mouthpiece. Hiking in Utah gets very dusty and we've seen others with hydration packs have had to ask a friend to rinse their mouthpiece before drinking. It also gave my kids…

Very good backpack for the money

Good value backpack for hydration. My previous pack was camelbak and is less convenient to fill in comparison. The water bag is attached with three Velcro straps that fasten in such a way that you don't have to pinch them together or wrap them around the top, but use a half twist to allow the sides, which are sticking together, to meet. Looks like either a design flaw or an assembly flaw. Not so hot what's up. The main improvement over the Camelback is the drinking tube. On Camelbak, the…

Great features and quality at an affordable price

Everything is great right out of the box! Everything came in a plastic bag, neat and tidy. Obviously I flushed the water bladder (removed that thin foam pad there) and hose. Pros I like: You can easily add a large hole for water and ice. The bag has reflective elements inside for warmth. The hose has its own neoprene sleeve for insulation. The tubing snaps onto your bladder so you know you've connected it properly. There is a dust cap on the bite valve. And he's tied up. There are no leaks yet.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Some bugs

Affordable and comfortable Safety

This hydration pack was purchased to replace an identical unit that I lost after 18 long, hard months of running 60-70 miles per week in all conditions of cold, ice, snow and Got rain away , thunderstorms and the opposite end behind 100 degree heat. You'll notice that I've made a few changes, these aren't faults with the Hydrator, these are things I've learned along the way, like adding extra reflectors, flashing LEDs, etc. The phone holster is a brand new addition. So far it's working great…

Read my full review

I have to admit I was very skeptical. I used to carry an actual US military Camelbak, but age and abuse took its toll and it was eventually discontinued. As much as I like this particular Camelbak. I like this one better. I'll tell you exactly why: I've recently started hiking frequently, and we all know the benefits of a moisturizer. Well, the thing even has something for real. 1) The ability to keep water cold is a brilliant accomplishment. The hydration bladder storage pocket is lined with…

Nice tutu - with a few quirks

First of all, this is a nice, compact tutu. I've recently started increasing my mileage in hiking/running and wanted something to take with me. I've used it on half a dozen short runs/hikes (less than 15 miles each) and one long 15-mile hike at Red Rocks. First the belts.? I'm 5'9", about 145 pounds and have a rather small torso. It took countless adjustments and tightening to try to fit the pack properly. Stop just a little to get the right setting. Once the adjustment was finally correct, I…
