Shouldn't have spent money on anything else

Works great. When you were held down by a traditionally spoiled chef (which you squeeze in one hand and twist with the other) and that was awful. My hands would cramp. Also, the plastic just flexed, relieving pressure on the block of cheese you were trying to grate. Simply press down slightly and rotate to your heart's content. Grate an entire block of parmesan cheese in about a minute.

Broke after 3 uses

Purchased April 6, 2021 Spent a few days researching them and reading reviews. Reviews for it weren't as good as I liked, but better than others in this price range. For osteoarthritis, I needed something that would make grating the cheese a lot easier. I was so excited to receive this. This shows the king. ONLY used 3 times! And he broke! Worked great the first 2 times for the most part. The suction continued to release the 3rd time and the plastic inside broke. Same cheese and such. There was

It doesn't absorb anything at all, but rubs everything in very well. Worth the money if you have a handle

Great for grating cheese, zucchini, carrots and everything else! I missed the part about it having "great suction" which I saw in reviews and didn't think this would be a problem. This thing has zero grip or suction power. You can just tell by his butt that he won't even try to suck anything. If you have weakness in your arms this is not for you. If you don't, it works very well. A little to be clear, THIS HAS NO SUCTION! IT HAS A BLACK RUBBER BASE THAT IS FLAT AND CANNOT SUCK ON ANY

Not for left-handers!

I really wanted to love it and I really like the way it looks but unfortunately I can't use it. The blades only point in one direction and there is no way to rotate the blades. So if you're left-handed, you're unfortunately turning the blades the wrong way. I only noticed this after trying a few "test items" and couldn't cut anything. I took a closer look to see what could be wrong and realized I probably had it turned the opposite way when the blades were naturally adjusted. So I took it apart

Very handy kitchen tool

I chose this rotary grater/shredder over traditional flat or box graters because it's easy to use, versatile and safe (no more scratches!). It looks solid enough even with no visible weak parts, but only time will tell. The price is low enough to exchange if necessary. Due to rheumatoid arthritis, I can no longer grip food tightly or strain to use other graters.
