Waste of money

Homebasix toilet brush with stand is a waste of money. Item rusted after 2 months use. I even went so far as to put a plastic bag inside the cylinder before use. It's still rusty on the outside and top. The base that was on the floor fell so hard it left a stain on my tile. The item was used once a week to keep my toilet in the women's room. I would now recommend this product.

Pros
  • 100% plastic
Cons

Stainless steel? Well maybe. But it will definitely rust.

Stainless steel? Well maybe. But it will probably rust pretty quickly. Rusty after a year. At $12, that's $1 "rent" per month. I believe the problem is that there is no ventilation and therefore it stays damp inside and corrodes. We burned 2 of them. Trade in for a cheaper stainless steel block with holes here at Revain. Maybe it will last longer. If not, then plastic. Here we come.

Pros
  • Brushed stainless steel
Cons
  • Don't remember

6 months used. Had to be thrown away

My first review of the product before using it was that it was great for the price. After 6 months of using these brush sets (bought two) I had to throw them both out. The stainless steel has rust around the base and stains on the sides that cannot be removed. It also left rings of rust on my tiled bathroom floor. If I wanted a disposable product, I would go for cheap plastic from Wal-Mart. I just replaced both. Don't waste money on them.

Pros
  • Stored separately in bathroom
Cons
  • Only available in white
