Bad material, easy to remove

I didn't like using them at all. I'll actually remove them from the project once I find a better one. Poor fit for all my bits, and the heads won't withstand a little resistance in hardwood even after pre-drilling a pilot hole. I haven't tried it in softwood yet, but I don't have to.

Pros
  • Screws
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Will never go to Phillips again! i am sold Robertson fans, you win!

I've messed with regular Phillips head screws my whole life. After learning that the square drive (aka Robertson drive) is actually the standard in Canada I decided to try them and was sold immediately! The square drive seems excellent in every way. * The electric screwdriver does not jump out of the screw accidentally * The whole experience feels - how to put it - very stable and light. Please note: * All #6 screws require an S1 drive (size 1 square drive)* All #8 props require an S2 drive…

Much better than Phillips!

If you don't use square head screws I don't even know what you do with your life. The reason for four stars instead of five is that some screws here use size 1 and others use size 2. Size 2 is readily available, but size 1 is smaller. Be careful! If you're used to a Phillips head where too much torque without enough pressure will cause the cam to loosen (remove screw head and screwdriver) you can break the screw in the work piece. The square engages so well that the screw is often sheared off…
