UNCOMFORTABLE - Home Office Chairs

This is a real office chair. It is uncomfortable to sit in it for a long time. Durable, yes, but I also need comfort. My body suffered from the design. I'm glad I finally dropped it and went back to the chair at the table. Goodbye forever. My chiropractor thanked me.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • A little maintenance

Nothing for heavier

What I hadn't noticed before is that the base that the wheels are attached to is plastic. I'm a heavier guy and after a few days the walls of the holes where the wheels are attached will crack. Was able to find and buy a steel base at Revain for $50 that works great. Otherwise it's a nice simple chair.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Secret

Sturdy but uncomfortable

So far (15 days) I have found this chair to be a sturdy chair. But sitting on it is not comfortable. The material of the seat cushion is not very good and will cause pain if you continue to sit for 30-40 minutes. The armrests are short for a 5'10" body. So overall it's not the best option if you intend to use it as a computer chair. In the office, it does well when you're briefly sitting with clients or visitors.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Too long to wait

This chair is not only cheap in price but also in construction. Very limited. Cannot adjust arms up or down. There are chairs here that are better and cheaper than this one, which costs over $90 with shipping and handling. The base and wheels are above average as you can move freely even on carpets.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • No form required

The chair is quite uncomfortable

Maybe I expected too much from this price range, but the seat of the chair is very hard and uncomfortable to sit on for a long time. It might be ok to sit for an hour but for a home office or student I would suggest looking at a higher quality product. Other than that, my 8 year old daughter thinks it's great because I've been keeping it for too long and can't get it back. So now she has her first writing chair for homework.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Something different

Not the same brand anymore.

All Hon chairs used to be used in my office. Not only is this chair uncomfortable and cheap to assemble, but to my surprise, all of these new Hon "Basyx" chairs are made in China. At this price, we've completely switched to the Lorell USA line, and the quality, comfort, and durability are A LOT. transcend it. My question is, can Lorell make his chairs in the USA (and we got ours cheaper than Hons back then) for the same price WITH BETTER BUILD QUALITY (like all metal joints) and BETTER COMFORT.

Pros
  • Not just fit for purpose
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
