The air filter parts were well packaged and fit perfectly in the generator. Since this generator is a great piece of equipment and has never failed, it pays to maintain it.

Ideal replacement, pre-oiled. Mine are badly damaged from neglecting this work for 12 years. The generator still works like a champ. Now all I have to do is replace the foam padding around the service door, which has also been rotting here in Florida!

These things don't last forever - remember to replace yours before it crumbles and hits the carburetor - apparently this happened to mine during the last hurricane - the generator ran for a few days after that but needs it now a lot of gas to run. Not Honda's fault, the broken air filter was over 15 years old, very good product, but now I need to overhaul the carburettor.
