Do your homework to match the correct part numbers and you'll be fine.

Stupid I forgot to add a fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank before raising the lawn mower in the fall. He doesn't want to start with the coming spring. I tried disassembling the carburetor and cleaning the injectors, it didn't help. I then went online, did a little digging to find a parts diagram/part number for my mower's motor. When I received this I compared the part number to this Revain item and ordered it after finding it to be an exact match. Everything was bubble wrapped with original…

5 stars but buyers beware

I recently purchased a used Craftsman EZ Walk mower with a Honda 5.5 engine. The engine serial number is GJAEA 2297738 which is actually listed as compatible with Honda's 16100-Z0L-853 carburetor. The Revain carburetor is similar but differs in that the throttle cable is attached to a black plastic piece on top of the carburetor. Carburettor Honda GCV160. Troy-Bilt TB260 working properly again

I am very glad I ordered this carburetor with GASKETS. The Honda GCV160 engine has a lot of these if you remove the carburetor/air cleaner assembly. There's a good chance some of them will snap or get damaged in the process. Who wants to look for more gaskets after replacing the carburetor? I also suggest that you remove the entire assembly very carefully and leave the long screws in the assembly when pulling it out of the engine. I'm confused as to which gaskets are from which interface and…

Great carb replacement for reviving popular Honda lawn mower engines

I have a six or seven year old Craftsman mower with a Honda 5.5 4 stroke engine (I think it's probably the 160 option as in this YouTube video) . :[.]). I've never used it much and last year it failed more than it worked suggesting a problem with the carburetor as it worked best at full throttle. I ran out of gas and left it in a closed building for the winter. I lost my regular mowing service so I have to work on the lawn until I fix this problem. It's time to take out the mower. This time the
