Not what I expected

- No endurance jokes. No matter how much you rubbed previously (in your hands) or how little you applied, you could still pull out little black grains. I think there's a demand for the beachy feel of sand in the beard. Good medium hold which is what I wanted. I was generally seduced by the dark wax and it becomes translucent after a good rub in the palms. However, you will see dark grease stains on white clothing. Goodbye white collars for longer beards. It's totally subjective, but I don't…

Best for long beards

I have a Duck Dynasty beard. I have tried all the balms and waxes. Some work better than others. Honest Amish beard wax is by far the best. It smells nice but not too perfumed so I don't get a headache after a few hours of inhaling. It keeps my beard in place all day. If it gets tangled in the wind, it's easy to straighten. I also don't get beeswax buildup using this product every day like I do with other waxes. The only other products that come close are twice the price. So this is my favorite

I like it but we're just friends (for now)

Pros: 1) Price – comparable or lower than many other waxes, although HA has a much better reputation. 2) Smell - I thought I would hate it because of the aniseed, and I can't stand black liquorice. It's hard to explain, but it smells so much better than black liquorice. I compare it to root beer (which I like) rather than black liquorice (which I dislike). Also, there's a hint of spice that softens the anise, so the scent is pleasant to me, at least, and I actually like it more than a lot of my

Something between smooth beard wax and original beard wax

I've been using Honest Amish beard balm, smooth beard wax, original beard wax and extra grit for about half a year. My beard is an inch to an inch and a half long and quite curly. Honest Amish products are great, I don't care about the chemicals or anything, but the products do what they say. Everything but the extra sand smells great, the extra sand doesn't smell bad but like other reviews have said, liquorice flavor which I don't like that much but all the other products smell great. They do…
