We bought this to raise the king size bed in the guest room to store things underneath. They raised the bed just enough for the large Ikea Skubb storage boxes to slide underneath with ease. Ideal for storing an extra bed and toiletries in a guest room that allows you to accommodate seasonal changes.

I'm a quilter and trying to cut fabric on a table that's too low can break your back. I bought 2 sets of these wooden bed jacks to raise my vintage cutting table and WOW what a difference. I folded them up and added about 6 inches to my desk height. They are well made and relatively sturdy. I highly recommend them.

We already had a set of the same risers and needed something taller. They were advertised as 3.5 inches tall, but they only added 2.75 inches. (exactly the same as the ones we already have!). 2 stars deducted for incorrect information. However, if you only need 2.75 inches, they are perfect!

assembly is unstable, also stains. The cuts are rough and not polished, so there are a lot of splinters on them. You can see the wood glue and some of the risers have a tear on the side. The varnish doesn't even completely cover them. I think you get what you paid for, I paid $20 for it. Just be tired of what you buy!

I love these lifters and have used them on my sofa which was about 2-3 inches lower and was difficult to get up. I ended up using Durham's Rock Hard Water Putty (a great powder that mixes with water to the right consistency and I made it look like pancake mix) and applied this putty mixture to each leg of the sofa as it placed in it became elevator. I bought a set of these wooden stands a few years ago and needed another set not to raise the bed but to put under my craft table which is quite heavy. I was terribly disappointed when I opened the box to find that one of the blocks had torn along the glue line.
