I cannot use this presser foot on my Janome 8900. The needle would not go through the foot slot no matter how the needle was set. Too bad because it's a good idea.

My needle got caught in the base. So my husband filed the foot to keep the needle from getting in. Now everything is in order. However, this is not exact. I sew on 1/4 inch bias tape. I'm an experienced seamstress and found it easier to do precise work without a presser foot.

I ordered this to complete a large project that required a lot of bias binding. According to the description, the foot is suitable for Singer sewing machines. I received the leg very quickly and it seems to be of good quality but it doesn't match my zinger! The rod is too small and does not fit. Not quite sure how to find one that fits now as the description of this one wasn't fair, I'm still interested in having one for my car. I love to sew but have never liked Boisse straps so I've always avoided projects that require a double fold but wanted to give them as gifts these presser try paw. At first I thought the presser foot looked flimsy and bothered me, but it fits my Brother sewing machine like any other presser foot I have and once you get used to the adjustment it really works that well.
