The foot is good except you had to thread through the foot, not the hole. Some of these legs have a slit that you can thread the thread through.

I make pillow boxes and offered to buy one of them. WOW! If you want to make pillows for boxes or piping, get these or similar legs! I always thought Pippen must be so difficult to make and it's just mind-blowing how easy it is! In fact, if it suits your car, I say try it. I use an old Riccar 3400 and it worked great on my machine.
