This fan is very quiet, but after two days of use it started to peel off. Low quality. It also doesn't provide adequate airflow. Not recommended and certainly not suitable for outdoor use.

We just received the fan and hung it up. Our living room is at the back of the house so we don't get much natural light. This fan lets in lots of light and a very unique and beautiful shadow on the ceiling. We love each other!

This is a good fan, but the price has increased slightly. The second and last step of the installation is to connect the 9-pin connector. The connector on my fan was compressed and would not connect. I went back to Revain but couldn't wait to have them replaced. The escape looked really good and I wish it would work.

So disappointed this is a cute fan but after a few months in the doors I noticed one of the fan blades was peeling off like it was a fake wood sticker! A dead bum has never seen that in a fan and overall it's a cute fan. I was fine with that, but what do I do with a broken fan in my living room? Such a crap.

I have a gazebo with two fans/lights. I replaced both. The only thing I didn't like was the way the globes fit. When you install them, there is at least 1/2 inch clearance between the ball and the fan base. You have no way of setting the globe so that you can adjust it without a gap. I will make a pad out of something that can withstand nature.

This fan has been in my dining room for four months now. Only recently, in the last two weeks, has it started making annoying noises. Not at all quiet. Also, of all the fans we've installed in our newly renovated home, this one is by far the worst at moving and pushing air. It just doesn't run very fast at altitude and doesn't push out as much air as it should in my opinion, I'd say keep looking! Some of my top clients went on vacation for 10 days and commissioned me to select a fan and color scheme for their covered patio. God I'm glad I chose this fan for them because they said it only gets compliments. They said they didn't have a single person who didn't like it. It's quiet, it blows out good air, I've replaced the included light bulbs with 5000K daylight LEDs. I also installed a Honeywell universal remote. Everything was new there, too, and I had to be a big shot for a few minutes…

My son-in-law installed without any problems. Don't shake. Well built. Love seeded glass and "candlelights". However, I deduct two stars for the big problem. I think changing the direction of the fan blades for summer and winter is an important part of a ceiling fan and really impractical for this model. The switch is inside the globe (also very difficult to see). To get to it I had to remove the heavy glass ball, which certainly requires two people as you have to hold the heavy glass, screw it

I chose this fan over others mainly for the looks, especially the 'oiled bronze' copper finish. We have oiled bronze kitchen faucets, as well as kitchen and bathroom faucets and other decorative items. I thought it would be a nice compliment. Unfortunately, the finish on this fan looks cheap and painted (smudged?) rather than oiled bronze metal. I really wish companies would stop calling it oil rubbed bronze when it's just black metal with painted edges. This is a completely different finishing
