Stays in place for security

I have one and I also have a First Alert water alarm. I like it better because it sits low to the ground and is difficult to tip over. I usually find the First Alert toppled over because something bumped into it. Both alarm clocks work the same way and react to the slightest amount of water. I can hear it from about one floor up…

This set off an alarm and I installed additional transfer pumps to get him outside. I still had water but it never covered the whole floor. It could have been a complete disaster. It detects even the smallest water and is loud. Make sure you place it on a flat part of the basement floor and think of a path for the water to flow through so you
