Reduces hood heat

Bought for my Jeep to keep the heat from oxidizing my paint, has worked very well so far. Normally my hood would feel very hot, but now it's barely warm👍🏼

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Appearance

Real heat and sound insulation!

One of the thickest thermal and soundproof materials. I installed them (I bought 2 of these) on my 2000 Ford F-350 in the main cabin (mainly where the transmission bumper is) as that is where it gets hot and the rest is around the two front seats.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Some little things

Works well, better than expected

Please note: A clean surface is most important. Spray on the hood and also on the self-adhesive surface of the lining. Spray 3M you ask? It reduced diesel engine noise so I installed it on the underside of the engine tunnel cover (van access). 2 months and no problems.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Brilliant! First. Best in Body and Finish

Used to insulate a hot water tank! Very good glue! Edge banding works great too! UPDATE: After about a month it started peeling off and the only thing holding it up was the tape around the edge. Unfortunately, the liability does not remain. Very upset that it didn't stick and stuck.

Pros
  • Great on me
Cons
  • boring packaging

The sound deadening material was very easy to install

The sound deadening material was very easy to install. I installed this stuff in my gas truck dog kennel. It took almost two rolls to install and there was more than enough tape. The product reduced noise at 65 mph and reduced heat coming out of the kennel.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Not sure

Excellent material! Worked fine for me.

The product is easy to work with. Zero adhesion problems! The thickness was about what I expected, about 1/2 inch. Used to line the underside of an RV's engine cover to contain heat and noise. There was a lot of foil tape in the kit. I used about 5/8 of this supplied product for this. Project at Winnebago Sightseer 2005.

Pros
  • insulation
Cons
  • small parts

Buy something else, product is not as advertised.

First of all, size 3/5 is wrong for me. In my opinion it actually measured about 3/8 inch. There is no glue on it so I used contact cement, hope it works. And I feel like I'm entitled to some kind of compensation for the extra hassle. Why did I use it? I was in the middle of work and didn't want to waste time ordering something else. Like I said, I hope it works

Pros
  • Suitcase
Cons
  • Alright

FRIDGE HOOD (HAND) HATCH

EXCELLENT product. Cooled my troubled Jeep engine temp by 20 degrees or better when it's not 110 degrees in Vegas in the summer. Also good sound absorption. The metal strap that comes with the kit has a temperature rating of several hundred degrees. Noise insulation of the hood is designed for 266 degrees, the tape is very high but forgotten. I'm thinking 500+. It is rated C on the strap itself. Everything is holding up very well. Now I'm ordering more for my custom Corvette 69 hood to make it…

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
