Description of 3M Yellow Hookit Disc Pad 05775, 5 in x 3/4 in, 5/16-24 External Thread

J hooks securely hold a 3M Hookit disc or 3M Finesse-it buffing pad. For use with a random orbital sander, rotary sander, or right angle grinder. 3M Hookit system provides easy removal and re-use. 45 degree tapered edge provides some flexibility for feather-edging and blending. 5/16"-24 thread size. Ideal for use with medium to fine grade abrasives for paint stripping and sanding primers. Firm yellow foam pad with a moderately flexible edge - good for flatter surfaces. Appox. 45° tapered edge allows for sanding curves as well as close to moldings. Hookit pad face holds the disc securely, allowing easy attachment and removal. Diameter: 5 IN; Center Hole: 3/4 IN.

The 3M Pad @ is cheaper than the price at the painter.

I use these with CBN wheels for deburring metal before welding or painting. I've always loved 3M products. Received them quickly; Good price; good product.

If you are Sand, you MUST have this.

This is the only way to sand. I've been painting for 30 years now and love the advantages over sticky discs. Great for wet grinding and a must have (interface disc), really completes the setup. Very easy to use, not afraid of water. The best thing that can happen is they make shirt pockets!

Works like all

Not to mention a device used by hundreds of thousands of people. It works like all. This is my fourth edition: they are widely used in the construction of wooden boats. A note: the manufacturer supplies all with mounting hardware, which is not necessary and should not be purchased by anyone who has used this device before. Mounting hardware should be an option.
