Item not delivered as described. Mine didn't have the seal that my original had. And NO silk filter. Just a regular round filter with a sticker saying it's a vacuum cleaner. and foam filter. Good bait and switch. Ah, it's coming back. I could buy a universal if I didn't want a slick.

This is not the same as the filter that came with the vacuum cleaner. This filter is just a foam circle. The filter that the vacuum came with has a 'top' and a 'bottom' and on one side it has something like a 'pillow' that is not foam rubber. I'm not sure if the difference affects how the vacuum is used.

From what I understand this is almost the same as what came with the Linx Stick vacuum when you bought it. It's more or less just a piece of foam, but I haven't had any problems with it. I washed it a couple of times and after waiting for it to dry completely I didn't notice any odor or mold. I've noticed that it's discolored, but this doesn't affect performance in any way.

This is a great replacement filter for the Hoover Linx Stick. A backup filter saves time while you wait for that dirty filter you just cleaned to dry. If you need a Linx Stick Vac and the filter is dirty, all you have to do is insert a duplicate and the Linx Stick is ready to go. I also appreciate the good communication with the seller.

I bought this filter to replace the original filter that came with my Hoover Linx stick vacuum. Since this was advertised as a replaceable filter I figured it would have the same screen material on one side (to catch larger particles I think). Not this filter. It's basically a round piece of styrofoam. It still worked though and I'm sure it's better than the old coarse filter that was in the vacuum.
