Agitation belt, thin, about 1/4 inch shorter. The roller continues to rotate in the vertical position of the handle and growls. It's too tight and the reel is on constantly - others have complained as well. The belt is designed to fit loosely around the brush bar when the handle is in the vertical position so the bar does not rotate. Bought for my Hoover Windtunnel Anniversary Upright Rack which has been in the family for about 10 years and the straps have never been changed. I've read mixed negative reviews, sometimes they seem to work and sometimes they don't. I rolled the dice and the small belt works as expected **see edit**, the large belt doesn't even stay on for a few seconds, it pops out as soon as I turn on the vacuum, I opened it up and tried 4 different times, um forcing it to work before you give up and just put the old wide belt back on and voila the old one works and stays in place which tells me something is wrong with the new wide belt! **EDIT Right…
