Highly visible to hitches

I have fitted these level indicators to my last three caravans, in the front where I can see in the rear view mirror. When I see that the trailer is level side to side, I unhook it and level it front to back. Works every time!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • No power

Good spirit level at a good price

I bought this spirit level over others because the same spirit level was fitted to a used trailer I owned and it was over the years that I own the trailer, always in good condition. Also the price was very cheap compared to others. Only time will tell if it will hold up as well as the old one, but I hope so.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • So so

This thing is almost a foot long.

Received exactly what I ordered, the problem is that I didn't read carefully. Do you have a 5 wheeler or a large caravan then this is for you. A small caravan, you might want to buy something smaller. The company quickly shipped them to Alaska. I just ordered the wrong one; My fault so I'm keeping them.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

Does not drive smoothly External accessories

Leveled the trailer and tried to install the device according to the instructions. I couldn't get the ball in the middle when trying to set it up. I moved it a little and the ball moved far to the other side. I then tried tilting the device to get the ball back and had to tilt it hard before it would move. Almost useless level.

Pros
  • Clearly visible from the rearview mirror
Cons
  • Damaged

Best screw into couplers

We were delighted to find out that it couldn't be installed without drilling. We ended up sending the item back but if I could tape it in place I would keep it for myself. You can't even stick double-sided tape behind it. It's very noticeable and will come in very handy when reversing to find a more level spot.

Pros
  • Shows side and side alignment
Cons
  • Expensive

So comfortable on external accessories

My father's fifth wheel was like this and when I saw it I bought it straight away. This makes it much easier to check the rearview mirror or look over your shoulder to see if your reverse gear is straight or if you need to lean to one side without getting out of the truck. We both have corrugated sheeting so it didn't sit flush. I didn't want to drill any holes either, so I used tape and silicone to attach it to my pendant. I looked at my father and the guy who owned it before him did too. A…

ball sticks. Not regulated.

I wanted to adjust the level at the front of the trailer. Try to keep it level to mark the screw holes. The ball "stuck" in one place. I had to tilt it 3-4 degrees to get it loose. They would have done the same elsewhere. This happened several times. It will never work in a trailer. Throw it away and buy another brand. It is also not allowed to "level" the level after it has been set. The screw holes are not adjustable, so you'd better get them exactly where you want them on the first try, or…
