Terrible designed product. When I close the case, all the buttons on the alarm key are pressed and my car's alarm goes off. This product was useless for me.

These key cases are GREAT! I bought my used car and the tops of both keys were broken so I had to do the tedious and messy job of duct tape to keep the key on the key ring. These cases are perfect! When I think about it, I was actually thinking about buying a new key which would cost about $175! And so cheap and well made!

i thought it fits my key very well as i can close it easily but after closing it i noticed that the gap between the button and the remote control is too small so i opened it up again and used my old button (big gap) to solve my problem. Cheap plastic. I was going to give it 1 star but eventually it worked so 2 stars.

Replaced the key fob internals for my 09 Eclipse except for the buttons which based on some of the reviews here I reused and everything was great until I locked my car with the remote. Instead of locking my car, pressing the lock button sets off the alarm. When I tried to open this thing to fix it the plastic broke so now I have a 'new' key fob that looks like it was eaten by a dog and isn't working properly. waste of time and money.

Does not fit for 2008 Lancer. I tried changing the interior and key from the old key to this shell and it doesn't fit. It doesn't close properly. When you close the case, the buttons are pressed firmly. I had to remove the silicone pad on the buttons and then reassemble the motherboard and then close the case for the buttons to work. Bad design. It doesn't even feel right. Terrible product. If I hadn't tried to sell the car and I didn't have a broken key case I would have returned it.

Key placement design solves the problem of cutting off the original Lancer 2010 key part; but the shell itself is too tight to hold the original button placket/chip core. For turnkey and internal installations. I liked the crisp click when connecting the halves. Two problems: 1. The buttons are not the same, I used the old buttons.
