The product works as a replacement for the OEM key shell. It is difficult to remove the transponder from the original key shell and clean it to fit in the space allotted for this replacement unit. Then, after several days of testing the installation of this new case, it sometimes opens unintentionally when the Camry is started, even after it's closed tightly. The only solution is to seal the shell in place so the key doesn't fall apart if others use the key and lose small button pieces.

Didn't fit my Scion key snugly, had to fill with epoxy. The electronics did not fit into the case, I had to carve it under the remote control case, and when the case is closed, the car alarm turns on and to stop it you have to disassemble the case. Thrown in the trash! I saved the small screwdriver in the kit so it wasn't a total waste!
