Nice heavy anvil

I use an anvil to flatten beading wire and it does the job perfectly. I've noticed that the hammer blow leaves small marks, but that wasn't a problem for my work.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Big and bulky

So-so anvil.

The price is reasonable but then you realize you have to sand the surface because of the heavy machining lines they left and you don't want to carry them to your work.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Vanish

He's so tiny and cute, oh yeah.

Great little anvil. It is very small but designed for very fine jewelry (or similar) work. I use it on my old pocket watches and clocks, it's great for hammering straight objects or even punching pins. The anvil has a small hole that you can use to knock pins out of objects. It's weighted just enough so that it doesn't roll over on you when you hammer something - again this is mainly used for micro/small work so putting something huge on top of it makes sense and Thor's hammer probably isn't…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
