Sent back because the powder measure was not accurate

Don't need this item. Since it cost so much more than Lee's gunpowder dispenser/launcher and performed worse, I saw no point in keeping it or any of its parts/accessories. Hornady disappointed me the first time!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I will add later

Working but dirty: Oil drain plugs

I disagree. The old method of pouring the powder back into the container by turning the powder ruler upside down worked. But I saw it and decided it would be easier. In a sense it is, but it certainly caused some confusion. I spent more time mopping up loose powder than before. I probably won't use it often, but if I did, I might be able to handle it better.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Disappears

Simple and useful with oil drain plugs

Was looking for an easier way to drain dripping powder saddles. I have a couple of cartridges mounted on a steel plate above my reloading bench and it annoys me to have to do all the powder measurements to dump the powder. It works pretty well, my cfe223, cfe gun and hp38 propellant run fine. I haven't upgraded to Pyrex funnels so I'll have to drain the powder until then so it doesn't corrode the plastic containers.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Update available

A great idea! Good product!

I read a review here that said the funnel doesn't have a locking channel? Well the one I got works exactly and fits the drum perfectly! This guy must insert the wrong ending! If you look at the picture, you can see the lock channel. When changing the measuring insert, simply hold the barrel up, secure the funnel and lower it into a suitable container. I move the powder dispenser to the front of the LNL AP before making any changes and this allows for a powder jug to pour right in!

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

It's beautiful, but still messy.

It does the job, but remember the gunpowder is already in the chamber before you're ready to use this thing. So you have to use some finesse to remove the metered camera and glue it in place. Then when you let go of the handle, remember that the powder will flow out of this thing as well as out of the outlet feed tube, so you might want to take a look at that as well. Then finally make sure you secure this thing, as soon as I emptied it and halfway through, it fell into my powder container and…

Pros
  • is understandable even for the old
Cons
  • Some little things
