Keep your finger on the pulse with tools and gadgets

I've owned them for a little over a month. A few socket holders have already broken, of course only outside the return window. It is much better to buy port freight, cheaper and with a guarantee. Update: about a year later. Keep breaking some socket holders. I would still recommend cheap port freight on these

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Modern

Not Durable best in Tools and equipment

They are not durable. I had them one day and I've already broken 3 of them. The other big problem I had is that getting the heads off the 3/8 inch holders is very difficult. I have to pry the bushings open with a screwdriver to keep the 3/8" retainers from bending and breaking. Damn. They look really cool but are more of a toy than a solid tool.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

Not heavy to carry to different job sites

They are very suitable for garages/workshops etc where they are mainly kept to organize points of sale for personal use. Take it to work or remove the entire splint. They have to buy products that cost double or triple the price and are more durable. However, they can be cut in half: they didn't come with extra end caps (which they claim to do on the box). They work as expected

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Not the best

Time will tell: Tool Trays

I bought a set of sockets from AutoZone that were disposable so I had to look for a replacement. I have found them which look very valuable but when I receive them the quality is questionable. I will update my review over the next few months, possibly spring as I use it every day in a professional environment. I want to reiterate that for the cost there is a lot.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Volume

Not heavy duty, portable to multiple locations

They are very useful in the garage/workshop etc where they are mainly kept to organize point of sale personal use. Don't expect to deliver them to the site or remove the entire track. You have to buy products that are two or three times more expensive and more durable. However, they can be cut in half: they didn't supply extra end caps (they say they do on the box). They work as I expected

Pros
  • Multiple competitors
Cons
  • Available in white only

A bit disappointed

The 3/8" holders were such a bad size that I threw them away. Levered out of the holder with a screwdriver. Tried other sockets on different holders on both rails (carefully learning the lesson) with the same results. Other rails and holders worked well and I like them better than the cheaper metal spring types. Would give 5 stars not for 3/8" holders.

Pros
  • Trial period for one year
Cons
