Obviously this is a big saving over the original Pessoa system and some things are noticeably different in quality. The metal length adjusters don't create enough friction to keep the ropes shorter. As the horse repeatedly pushes on the ropes, the length returns to the end of the buckle. I'm sure this can be fixed by bending the clips a bit. Otherwise, it's worth spending less for the same study guide.

This pesoa works great on my less-excited horses. The clips/ropes are attached with small rings so they can be adjusted but I tend to use them on my Thoroughbred 17th finger and the ropes are on the end so they are no longer.
