My daughter just got back from riding and told me these are super comfortable and her new favorite pair of breeches. You look good too.

I am 5ft 3.5" and weigh 110 pounds and bought 24. They fit pretty well. They are narrow but I expected that. it and line the floor.

Excessively tight in the waist and oddly bulky/loose in the legs, I have big thighs and a big butt. I usually wear size 8 American Eagle jeans for easier or more familiar size comparison and fit. They're pretty thick for the material, which I like.

These are definitely not summer tights, I only rode 30 minutes at the walk and trot in 80 degree weather and got out of the saddle at the end of the ride I'm soaked with sweat! Definitely not a pretty sight! I do like them a lot though, the fit and color are lovely so I'll be wearing them in the cooler months.

Pull-on breeches are great. I would give them a 5, but the 26 waist is closer to a 28. A thin elastic band is sewn into the wide waistband. I would go with a softer stretch material for the strap, maybe with the ability to fold it down while leaving the rest of the pant in a durable, heavy-duty stretch material, which is pretty impressive.
