Real quality, real leather.

A leather jacket like it used to be, it's HEAVY, as a leather jacket should be. It's nice to see someone still making full grain leather and not multi-layered split leather that will tear, wear, chip and offer no protection. Stylish, comfortable, warm, well made. This jacket is everything a leather jacket should be and so rare these days.

Pros
  • High-quality assembly
Cons
  • Working speed

Stop looking - protective gear

Let me start by saying that I don't do reviews. We have just returned from a 1500 mile trip to Graceland. The jacket is perfect. Yes, I actually used it as a motorcycle jacket! I went through hot, muggy weather and a hurricane. Drenched for hours. Dry and looking great. I'm 6ft 3", 195, and a size 44 fits like a motorcycle jacket should fit. Stop looking for other brands. You won't find better, even for a lot of money.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Security

8 pounds! Heavy and very well made

This jacket weighs, I'm not kidding, eight pounds. It's very thick and well made. If that's what you're looking for, this is a good choice. Unfortunately I bought something to wear on stage under bright lights and it's definitely not the right thing. It's too heavy, bulky and warm. Riding would be great. I'm keeping it to myself because it's a really nice leather jacket. But it weighs eight pounds lol.

WOW! I expected a lot less for my money!

Received the jacket yesterday. Nicely packaged and I was surprised at the weight. I tried it and WOW! Fits perfectly. I have a 32 waist, 6ft tall, 160lbs and took a size 44. I love this jacket. It doesn't wrinkle like new skin. I miss that. You know you're at the entrance and you put your hand on your girlfriend's shoulder and you hear that leathery rustle. Just romantic. Also, it doesn't smell like leather, but maybe because it's too new. I can't wait to wear it outside. It's raining too much…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not everything is as good as it says

Size mismatch!: Jackets & Vests

First things first. I tried it on and immediately realized how much effort I had to put my other hand into the jacket. I know properly fitting jackets are tight, but was that it, do I even believe in the coziness?! got it The photo shows how far away the flash is. This is not a free landing. It's as tight around me as it gets. My belly is 52. So I use it to measure my chest. Never go wrong this way. I too have size 42. All sizes correspond to jacket size 48. Comfortable. Not like a ham wrapped…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

I bought this jacket after realizing that my old original 1985 jacket no longer fits. It must have shrunk because I couldn't gain 50 pounds :)! Anyway, this new jacket is just as good as my old $300 jacket and looks worn. It has nice hidden pockets for carrying and the laced sides wrap things up nicely by pressing the knots. I took the advice of others and ordered a few sizes up, although it was a bit heavy on deer self esteem. My bust is 46", belly is 48", waist is 45", so I ordered 50. It…

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Questionable Senior Purchase

Survived the SUV attack but not the paramedics.

I bought this jacket almost five years ago and it was a very good jacket until last September when the expedition ran a red light and met me at a 60 mph intersection. After partial reflection, the windshield that shattered the roof inside the jacket was still fully intact, with a small rash from a 50-yard slide. Even the paramedics who loaded me into the van said it was a great jacket because it was difficult to cut with scissors. This jacket has survived the rain, a few slips and an SUV…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Frequency

Runs 2 sizes small, but great jacket!

I bought this jacket because I've wanted it since I was 12 - about 60 years ago! My mother didn't let me do it when I was a kid because it would make me look like a "bully". I don't have a motorcycle and have never ridden one, although I've raced autos and ridden a streetcar at 170 mph (unbeknownst to my mother). I just decided I deserve a jacket like this before I die. This is a really good durable jacket and the leather is of good quality. Unfortunately it is too small for me. I'm 6ft 2in…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

A bit square at first.

I bought this jacket last week and only received it last Sunday. The shipping was fast and that without Prime. I was a bit apprehensive when I first got it because it was really square and the sleeves looked too thick. I thought about redoing it but figured my first try at getting it to work for me would be tossing it in the washing machine to get it wet. I didn't use fabric softener or detergent. I just wanted to see if the skin would soften and take shape better. Then I threw it in the dryer.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Price
