Review on Hot Leathers Classic Motorcycle 38 by Jarrett Francis

I bought this jacket because I've wanted it since I was 12 - about 60 years ago! My mother didn't let me do it when I was a kid because it would make me look like a "bully". I don't have a motorcycle and have never ridden one, although I've raced autos and ridden a streetcar at 170 mph (unbeknownst to my mother). I just decided I deserve a jacket like this before I die. This is a really good durable jacket and the leather is of good quality. Unfortunately it is too small for me. I'm 6ft 2in, 205lbs and now wearing a 44 inch blazer. I used to wear 46L but got old and shrunk. I ordered this jacket in size 4 based on the reviews. It's still too tight and too small. I'm not fat, and the problem isn't with the waist, it's with the shoulders, which are too tight. The leather is very thick and heavy, which makes the jacket look even smaller - at least until it's tucked in. I read in a review that it should be tight. This may be true on a bike, but not for my purposes. I can't put my hands in my pockets because it's so tight. I haven't given up and will be returning these and ordering a 48. I really like the jacket and would give it 5 stars if it fits. I recommend at least 2 sizes up if you don't want it to be skin tight.
