Works great in outlets and accessories

Just bought a new tool that requires this 50 amp outlet. I have a lot of 220 instruments and the connectors are usually different so I decided to replace them all with this 50 AMP design. What I liked most about this plugin is that it has a screw in the middle to hold the cover in place. Many just snap and tend to pop out when you unplug your tool. If I need additional plugins I will use those.

Pros
  • 50 amp, 250 volt nominal
Cons
  • Doubt

Great value for money.: Standard outlets

Plugged into dryer 220V AC outlet, set LEAF to synchronized charging, plug in and you're done. Works very well. A 16 amp charger can charge the LEAF from 50% to 80% in a matter of hours. I do this almost every night. The product appears to be of high quality with no fancy frills (like wi-fi connections etc which I don't need). A 30 foot cable is all I need. It just works and that's all I asked for. Good value for money (lowest price, best quality, 5 stars).

Pros
  • NEMA 6-50R
Cons
  • Crumpled

Ground Pin Poor Wire Tie Design

Neutral or ground connector wire tie runs horizontally while other positive terminals run vertically. When you install the ground wire it is in the middle of the two hot legs and you have to bend the wire to get to the screw terminals on the other side of the terminal and it hits the hot leg creating a short. The screw terminal needs to be reoriented 90 degrees so everything is pointing in the same direction as the hot terminals. I had to put a rubber hose over the wire to stop the short…

Pros
  • Item Height: 3 in.
Cons
  • No Instructions
