As a result of my tests, I determined that this curling iron did not live up to its expectations. While it heated up quickly, the barrel did not provide a consistent curl and left my hair looking frizzy and unkempt. The only pro was the diamond platinum coating that seemed to prevent damage to my hair. However, the high price tag does not justify the poor performance.

small dent on shaft worn box I have a feeling it might have been a returned or used product so I was a little upset about that. but i decided to keep it rather than the hassle of getting it back, it works well and the dent doesn't affect the curls

This curling iron is very good. It heats up very quickly, so be careful. Curls perfectly and makes the hair shine! I love it. Oh, and always spritz a heat protectant spray on your hair before putting anything hot on it; This will bring out the obvious and also make it shiny and soft. ;) I love doing hair.
