Description of Houseables Dog Tunnel: 18 Ft Long Agility Equipment for Small & Medium Dogs - Polyester, Carrying Case & Stakes Included!

REGULATION SIZE: Regulation size (18' long coiled shape shifting tube with 24” double-ended openings -- AKC and NADAC compliant) agility tunnel modeled after those found in obstacle courses at sanctioned dog events. Recommended for small to mid-sized dogs weighing up to 80-90 pounds (casual use only). DURABLE MATERIAL: Lined with a blue covering made from lightweight yet surprisingly durable 600D woven Oxford Dacron. Included in this set are 8-10 anti-rust zinc plated 7” stakes that insert through the metal grommet tabs around the base of the tunnel. The downward angled tops of the stakes will not protrude out of the ground and cause harm to your dogs while they play. ENDLESS EXERCISE: A tremendous resource for sharpening your dog’s obedience, quickness, dexterity, and overall quality of life. Use this dynamic, portable tunnel for casual play, exercise, and introductory training. It is perfect for burning tons of dog energy, playing chase, fetch, hide-and-seek, and a great many other dog/owner favorites. PORTABLE: Arrives in a circular carrying case with dual nylon black handles at the top for effortless transport. Once removed from the case, the tunnel instantly expands to full length like a pop out tent. Quickly collapses and folds back together when you are finished. Set it up inside the home, in the backyard, at your favorite beach or park, and much more. EASY FUN AFTER A RUFF DAY: Sometimes dogging is ruff, and a pup just needs to run around to shed some stress. Our tunnel is a quick and easy way to make an obstacle course of fun for your dog to play with. Your puppy will love it, we guarantee it!.

Great fun for Violetta

Puppy loves the tunnel! Tried it internally first with great results. We've been out with him ever since. She went through it, and soon there were toys. Football in the tunnel with a chew toy in his mouth. She loves playing with multiple toys at the same time, which adds another layer of complexity to the hilarious commercial. Looks strong enough, easy to tie and store.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some cons

I probably bought 6 of these, the reason for my 3 star rating is that the metal VERY EASILY goes through the ends and after a short while I have to throw it out for fear of my dogs stabbing it become a harmful path. If the material were a little thicker, this could not happen.

My 5 month old Havanese loves this

This tunnel is well made. My puppy LOVES this. However, an unfortunate event happened. He raced in circles at maximum speed and caught his paw. We used him in the hall when our apartment wasn't secured and he slipped and got his foot under one of the metal rings. So now let's tie it to something or hold it by both ends. It was heartbreaking to see him having so much fun and then getting hurt so word to the wise.

I can't complain about the price

Not a real agility tunnel in terms of material, but I knew that when I bought it. I needed a starter tunnel for my two puppies and something for them during our long, cold, wet winters. This tunnel is perfect for that! We set it up in the hallway and lead the puppies through it. You're having loads of fun! The tunnel will likely last longer since I don't use it and don't leave it installed outdoors. Easy to fold and great that there is a storage bag. I just hang it in the closet in the hallway.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Price that beats the piggy bank

Great for agility training and just for fun! I love it!

I bought this tunnel to start training my 4 month old Australian Agility. He loves to! His first journey was stopped by an unfortunate grasshopper that found its way into the tunnel. He has been chasing Gonzalez through the tunnel ever since, although he sometimes chooses to jump on him and trip him up. Externally it has held up well for about a month although I know it will last longer if I take better care of it and return it when not in use. 18ft is just enough for a turn or two so I…

Fun toy for athleticism and stimulation.

Our dogs love it. They follow each other in the tunnel, especially when it comes to the ball. In the end, the big pup got too angry and cut a vent hole, tearing the thin nylon. After a few months of heavy use, the metal wire was exposed through a crack in the rim with an open end. With this new random design, I'm now going to nail it to the ground to avoid getting hurt until a new tunnel appears. We now use it as a "jump device" when our pup jumps over it. Because the tunnel is flexible and…

Longer and lighter than expected

I must have misunderstood the length because I was expecting 6ft which is about 12ft. My whippets love it and can fly through it with ease. It's lighter than I expected so I'm not sure how long it will last. Update: The quality of the product is just terrible! I saw the reviews and thought "oh they must really suck with that" and "this isn't for me because I'm only going to use it indoors". Boy was I wrong! After my dogs used it around the house for three days, I went up to their level and saw…

Lightweight affordable option

I finally got it replaced after 3 years. He was outdoors for over a year and eventually succumbed to the weather and the dogs. It works very well for the price at home.2. Inside it is not as dark as in the official tunnels. That's fine for running puppies, but that will change when they move into the competition tunnel.3. It's not really adjustable in length - the fabric folds inward, making it more compressed. You can't use this to create a super short tunnel.4. It is very light and easy to…
