📦 Large Stripped Weathered Wooden Storage Trunk for Household Essentials Review

I don't give it 2 stars because I don't like it I don't like the exterior, the look of this storage car! However, for $112 I was expecting it to be the highest quality wood. It's so light and has rips on the side. Unfortunately, it's too hassle to send it back for an exchange, but I probably wouldn't pay more than $50 for it if I saw it in stores.

The first thing we noticed after unpacking was the smell. The barrel stinks of formaldehyde! The packaging it came in had a label stating that the product could expose you to chemicals known to cause cancer or birth defects. Also, craftsmanship is cheap and fake. The "metal" straps and front latch are made of cheap metal-coated wood. You seem to get what you pay for and it's probably worth buying a $200+ suitcase.

I was looking for a lightweight, attractive storage chest or quilt box. This product fully meets my requirements. It's well made, attractive and has room for lots of duvets. It's not a piece of furniture. So if you are looking for a cedar chest or suitcase, you will have to look for furniture and pay a little more for it. For the price, this thing is a real bargain. If you like a vintage shabby look then this case is perfect. Lasts even longer than I expected! Ideal for storing blankets in the family room. It's a thin wood so I wouldn't recommend it for hard or heavy use like a toy box. But it is a great decoration.

The trunk was exactly as expected, the color was the same, no cracks, I didn't have to hurt my back lifting it up as it's very light as mentioned. It's perfect for my winter blanket and has a lovely cedar scent. The size is also good for holding blankets or blankets. I wish it was a little cheaper

I made this using a template as a gift for my wife and she loved it! It looks good as a decorative item but is very cheaply made and looks like it will break into 20 pieces if I drop a pillow on it. The 3 stars go for the looks and the fact that it's highly customizable. I rejected the other two because I think they are a bit overpriced due to their cheap build. It still looks good in our living room though and my wife is happy so I consider it a win!
