Seems to work.

Purchased for Harley while in the garage. Seems to work fine; At first there was no light when I plugged it in, but later a green light came on indicating the battery was charged, and it appears to be. I've only been using it for a few weeks, so I can't comment on durability. So far, so good.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Works but service voltage is too low

Charges small batteries as it should, but in service/support mode the output voltage is in the 12 volt range. The lower operating voltage of this charger will not harm the battery but will not maintain its maximum full charge. I had the same problem with a cheap charger/holder from Harbor Freight. In this category, I recommend the Moto Power 0.75 amp charger, which maintains a constant voltage of 13.5-13.6 volts in float mode (I have four of these, and they are all within that voltage range).

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

Good for battery maintenance

Bought a pair. Previously worked well on bikes with small batteries and turned up the voltage overnight on a dead battery. Time will tell for one of our cars. The guide wasn't the best (mainly due to a lot of unnecessary information) but was clear after reading it twice. I would buy it again. Added an update and a fifth star: Having used this on a car that doesn't get much use, I can confirm that it supports a car battery, not just motorcycle batteries. It also revived the battery on one of the

Very reliable and easy to use!

I live in an area of Nevada that doesn't retain heat all year round. When my brand new car battery froze I decided it was too cold to charge! Being single, disabled, and a woman didn't help start a car that just wasn't working. My dad loaned it to me like this, but don't tell him mine is better! LOL I've had this for a while now and boy how nice to know that my car starts every time because of this charger! This is really priceless for me! I highly recommend it to recharge your batteries!

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Almost never

This is not a trickle charger

First, the float charger has float batteries from 12.9 to 13.2 or so, after a while they will go up to 13.8. It matters what type of charger or float charger you have. It's not like this. This requires more than 14 volts from your battery. This is a floating mine on 4/14. Anyone familiar with batteries knows that this is dangerous for the battery. This is a drip charger and drip chargers destroy batteries. Don't let 400mA full U. They say it can't charge batteries well. I charged one to testโ€ฆ

Pros
  • All right!
