It was hard to know this laptop came with Windows S. Yes, you can disable it, but it will never feel like Windows Home. S made it difficult to download anything that wasn't purchased from the Microsoft Store. This came with Microsoft in "S" mode and I declined because I'm not that good with computers so I hope I haven't made a wrong decision as you can't go back . Excellent laptop for the money. The operating system seems to be fast and offers quick navigation through different programs. This is the best price for a 15-inch laptop with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. PS came 2 days early. Love it.
