🟨 HP 201X CF402X Yellow Toner Cartridge: High-Yield for HP Color LaserJet Pro M252dw, M277 Series Review

I bought two: yellow and blue. Yellow was ok but blue didn't work. The cyan was full, but the toner didn't spread across the paper. I bought another blue one from a non-HP dealer and it works fine. So it's not my printer, it's the HP brand that let it down. It's been waiting too long to install (after 30 days) so I can't go back. So be careful, you may burn yourself if you wait alone.

I like that this is a genuine HP toner. I'm the one who believes genuine toner will bring your printer to life. However, it is rare to find HP toners at the most competitive price on the Revain website. The overall low rating is based solely on the $$$ charged per product. Otherwise it would be 5 stars if the price was the same as others online.

I tried another brand and it didn't do well with color quality and density at half the price. With no response from another brand I went back to HP which is the same quality as the original starter cartridges for my HP M277dw color laser printer. Revain still had the lowest price compared to any retailer or other outlet. Oddly enough, a Revain pack of four color cartridges costs more than four individual cartridges.

A few months after I installed three new color cartridges in my printer, I noticed yellow streaks on the left edge of each page. I bought extra empty original HP cartridges so I don't have this problem. It's too late to return now. When I bought it it was $88, now they charge $110. I bought a LaserJet Pro MFP-M277dw printer and have had only HP printers, both LaserJet and InkJet, for 25 years. I highly recommend HP cartridges over all generic brands as they are really good quality and match their products. The use of normal LaserJet cartridges or cheap printer ink (refilling ink cartridges in discount stores) only leads to expensive repairs on your HP printer and, in the worst case, can lead to you voiding any guarantees on HP printers.
